Let’s Rock
People are already sick of the iPod rumors flying around since the past month but the September event from Apple is one of those events for which you wait and keep F5′ing your screen until the keynote is over.
Not only that after the keynote you go on and download the whole keynote in beautiful H.264 quality from the iTunes Store/Stream it from Apple’s website. I guess thats what I do :| And most other Applefanboys and girls =P
But wth, I always make predictions for Apple events based on what I look at on various tech-rumor sites.
- iPod Nano [Bigger screen, colors, redesigned, cheaper/more space]
- iPod Shuffle [Redesigned, more storage]
- iPod (Classic) [White color :@, Bigger screen, more storage, cheaper, probably will run on OS X]
- iPod Touch [Minor changes, cheaper, more storage, GPS]
- No new Mac’s :P
- iTunes 8.0
- iPod Touch/iPhone firmware 2.1 [Bug Fixes, iPhone 3G Reception fix, Security fix to prevent from bypassing the double home button exploit, Fix for iPhone app crashing, "Push" background services for applications, Update Supporting Languages, Recognition of iPhone 3G's cardinal direction and velocity; potential for turn-by-turn navigation]
- Stock of Apple Inc; (NASDAQ: AAPL) probably will go down cause of no new Mac’s

My predictions:
1. New Nano.
2. Touch gets fucked.
3. Classic remains with everything same expect price.
4. iTunes 8.0 is gonna be a 80MB+ download.
5. New firmware for iPod Touch/iPhone will add most features which is on the new iPod Touch expect for the external keys obviously. It’s gonna be in 240-250MB range
6. Oh yeah Shuffle discontinued =P
7. Stock goes up on the talks of new firmware. Goes down at the end cause of no new Mac’s and Jobs has to look healthy at the keynote. I think it’s gonna hit a year low soon. 160.168 last time I checked
