Indian Smokers get Fucked ;)

[Okay so this is finally it, my first post from the iPod touch Wordpress application hence it may contain typos which will be corrected soon.]

In today’s news I hear that our union health minister has finally convinced our center government to ban smoking in public places except on roads.

The previous draft contained a line which said it was okay to smoke on paths but not on pavements but when our smart government realized that didn’t make any sense even in Gibberish they decided to change it. I had posted an article called Don’t Smoke….Strip! During may when the same guy told Bollywood stars not to smoke in movies and in public places. He had also said in a press conference that public figures shouldn’t even endorse junk food.

Starting from October 2nd a 200 rupees fine will be imposed on any one seen smoking in public places except the roads OR well you could just give a Dunhill to the cop who has never smoked anything but Desi Beedi :)

The center once again tying to prove the they are not as bad as the Left tells people they are and also once again failing at that.

People from all over the country are angry ad even non-smokers think this is a step in the wrong direction. I seriously doubt if Mr. Ramadoss hasn’t ever been affected by the ‘crazy’ because there are way more important issues he should be dealing with, unlike underage smoking and drinking. What the bloody fuck is he trying to prove?

People have a right to smoke if you think that’s wrong ban smokes and abolish all smokers. Oh, or go and arrest those people who smoke pot up in the Himalayas and those ashrams.

Next thing we know the government bans peeing on public property!

  3. Dude, first tell those assholes to stop producing tobacco, and those bastards in kashmir to stop smoking hukkah.

Difference between hukkah and cigarette? Hukkah is part of ‘Indian Culture’.

So they won’t ban that, but they’ll ban cigarettes. What the fuck.

  4. Okay so where do people usually smoke anyway? Okay maybe a hotel/pub but they can’t ban smoking in a place which sells Hukka can they?

    I’m confused.

@Krishna: No dude those fucks up in the hills smoke POT/weed whatever. Hukka is basically an Arabic tradition not an Indian but yeah wth they can use that as an excuse.

@Steve: They have banned Hukkas in most of the places in Bombay. Smoking is banned EVERYWHERE :@

@Shel: No if I wanna go fast I can go pee on the wall, probably I’ll meet the policewalla who is a step ahead and pooping there :P

  7. Might want to look at the latest Boston Legal (501) on this. Pretty interesting facts they’ve recounted. I would’ve repeated what it said except I’m too lazy to do all that typing and subs haven’t come out yet.

Pretty interesting how India has implemented things like these and the Telecom “Do not call” funda when the US is still appealing for it via satires.

Maybe he is a chut. But then, maybe he isn’t. Point being the issue ain’t so much black or white as it is Grey and such a simplistic treatment is kind of wrong.

    Just a thought. :|

  8. I don’t really watch Boston Legal ^

I guess but then again my posts are always about what I think too ^

I have smoked in restaurants, and I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I think trying to restrict me from smoking is a bad thing. If smoking is such a bad thing we should just ban them :)

    just a thought :)

  10. z0mg. I’ve missed so much of action in the past week.

Anyway, dyude, I toh these days smoke wherever I want. No one stops me. There aren’t any cops around anyway. Aur agar ayega, toh 20 rupaiya pakda ke I’ll ask him to fuck off. Subtly, of course. Lulz.
